Shipping Charges and Policies
Shipping/Handling promise - Fine ceramic artworks are delicate, but very durable when handled correctly. Equus Studio promises that each artwork shipped will reach its destination intact. If you receive a damaged sculpture, please contact us immediately (before shipping the sculpture back). If the piece cannot be fixed and returned to the exact state it was in before shipping, Jen can replace it with an already completed work or refund your money. Whichever you choose is your option, but Jen will need the broken sculpture in return. All costs incurred for shipping, including shipping the sculpture back to Equus Studio, will be refunded to you, either with the original sculpture refund, or it will be sent with the new or repaired sculpture. **Only Jen can determine whether the sculpture can be repaired, and only after she has received it back from the 2nd shipping.
Shipping and handling charges for large ceramic sculptures will be $100 each. See below for a complete chart of shipping costs. Sculptures are not eligible for discounted shipping because they must be securely crated one sculpture per box. Sculptures will be wrapped in bubble wrap, secured with packing peanuts, and then double-boxed for shipping. Packing materials and shipping insurance is included in the s/h charges in case a mishap occurs despite all packing procedures. All works will be sent via Fedex and a tracking number will be provided to the buyer. Care is needed in removing the sculpture from the packing materials - especially while removing bubble wrap.
Shipping and handling charges for 8" x 10" prints will be $8 for 1 print, plus $2 for every other 8" x 10" or larger print purchased at the same time. For an 11" x 14" print, shipping is $12 for 1 print, and $3 for consecutive 11" x 14" prints. If a print is damaged or misplaced due to carrier mishap, you will be sent a replacement of the exact same print at no additional cost to you (proof of the damaged print will be required).

**Discount shipping applies when more than one item from a section is bought. The first item ships at regular shipping cost, the 2nd and each consecutive item ships at the discount rate. (If you by two different 8" x 10" prints, either archival or specialty or both, the first one ships for $8 and the second one ships for $2.)
Ordering and Privacy Policy
Online ordering is safe, secure, and easy. No customer information will ever be sold or shared in any way, and customer information is not stored on the Equus Studio server to ensure customer confidentiality. Most items on the website are ready for shipping unless otherwise specified, and will be sent immediately after payment is received.

We also accept payment by check. Please contact Equus Studio before sending the check so that we can mark the artwork as sold, ensuring that it will still be available at the time that we receive your payment (this is especially important for one-of-a-kind artworks, such as sculptures). There will be a ten day waiting period from the time the check is received until the time the artwork will be shipped. We appreciate your patience during this waiting period. All Missouri residents are asked to include a 4.225% state sales tax to their purchase.
Ordering and Shipping FAQ's
Is the online shopping cart safe and secure?
Online shopping is processed through PayPal. This method is free to the customer and keeps their personal financial information safe and private. Use the "Add to Cart" buttons, and when ready, use the "View Cart" button to check out through PayPal's secure site. Once the payment is received, your order will be processed and shipped immediately. You will receive emails indicating the works you have purchased and tracking numbers for you shipment(s).
Do I have to start an account with Equus Studio to purchase artworks?
No account is necessary, not even through PayPal. To buy items without a PayPal account, simply choose to "Continue without an account" once you are on the PayPal site.
I want to purchase an artwork and will be in the Springfield, MO area. Can I pick the work up instead of having it shipped?
You can do a local pickup for artworks at no charge for shipping (if you wish for a sculpture to be crated for travel - which is recommended - there will be a $35 charge). In order to process your order without the shipping charges, email us with a list of works you want to pick up and how you wish to pay (either cash at pickup or PayPal before pickup). If you choose to pay with paypal, we will send you a detailed invoice of the artworks you have chosen with a PayPal link. Click on the link and pay securely through PayPal. If you choose to use PayPal, you will need to pay approximately 5 days in advance of picking up the artworks.
I had a sculpture shipped and it arrived broken. What should I do?
Contact Equus Studio immediately (usually within 48 hours) to resolve this situation. If it is a small break it can be repaired or your money refunded (including the s/h). If you elect to get a refund, we will need the entire broken sculpture and all of its pieces in return (in either case, your return shipping will be refunded to you as well).
